Are you a student innovator? Are you a part of the San Diego innovation community? Do you work at a startup or an incubator? Are you a software engineer? Can you translate tough ideas into a pitch?

Here’s your chance for your team to compete for prizes ($5K in cash awards) while solving the top issues facing our nation. Judges represent the top companies in innovation, technology and bio-tech within the San Diego community.

Booz Allen Hamilton is hosting a two-day Cyber & Bio-Tech Hack-A-Thon in San Diego where YOU can compete, participate, and network with top industry leaders in both cybersecurity and biotechnology fields.

Bring your laptop and ideas, we’ll host the food and fun!

When: January 21-22, 2017

Registration begins at 8 a.m. (Day 1)

Hack-A-Thon starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.


Where: 840 14th Street, San Diego, 92101

Urban Discovery Academy, Makers Quarter

East Village San Diego  

Participants will discover:

  • Latest trends in wearable technologies
  • Design and provide solutions toward health and wellness using wearable devices


Get a chance to:  

  • Learn more about technologies in cyber and bio-tech
  • Collaborate with coders and programmers
  • Network with cyber and bio-tech industry leaders, startups, local thought leaders, and event partners


Don’t worry, you don’t have be a “coder” to participate. We need innovators, thought leaders, and strategists to participate. So brainstorm, form your team, we’ll take care of the food and fun.


Getting Involved:

1. Brainstorm and form a team (up to 5 people).           

2. Register your team here: (you can also register as an individual and we’ll add you to a team). 

3. Bring your laptop and ideas.

4. Join a session and innovate with like-minded leaders.


Hack-a-Thon winners will be featured at the Booz Allen Hamilton Ideas Festival on January 27, 2017.
