2012 Calit2 Summer Undergraduate Research Scholars Program

UCSD undergrads in all majors are encouraged to attend one of two information sessions:

Monday, February 13 at 12 p.m.
Friday, February 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Both sessions will be held in Atkinson Hall, room 4004

Deadline To Apply: Monday, March 12 at Noon

Please note: Late applications will not be accepted.

The Calit2 Summer Scholars program is open to registered UC San Diego undergraduates in any academic discipline. Incoming students registered for fall quarter 2012 and graduating seniors are eligible.

Students must find their own faculty advisor and will perform hands-on research under their advisor’s guidance for 10 weeks this summer. Students can either assist on an ongoing project or propose a new one.

Summer Scholars are required to attend weekly seminars and presentations which cover a variety of topics regarding conducting research and career development.

Each Calit2 Summer Scholar will be awarded a $3,000 scholarship (paid in 2 installments).
